The Nurture Difference

Safe and uplifting environments
Our Nurture Montessori at Victoria Park centre is intentionally designed to be welcoming, calm and engaging, drawing on a Reggio Emilia inspired approach where the environment supports children’s learning and sense of belonging. We use natural and recycled materials, along with soft and cohesive colour palettes, to create spaces that feel calm, considered and inviting. These environments are designed to help children feel secure, supported and ready to learn.
Quality education and care
We deliver consistent, high quality early education through structured programs guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. Our approach supports each child’s development, learning and wellbeing, while maintaining strong communication with families and encouraging their involvement in their child’s learning journey.
All-inclusive Arts Programme
At Nurture, the arts are a fundamental part of our educational philosophy. Our dedicated Arts Program, included within our daily curriculum at no additional cost, provides children with meaningful opportunities to engage in visual arts, dance and creative expression. These experiences are led by qualified specialist art and dance teachers who work alongside our educators to inspire creativity, nurture confidence and support children's social, emotional and cognitive development through the arts.
Locally owned and accountable
Nurture Montessori is locally owned and managed, with a hands on approach to how our centres operate. This allows for clear oversight, consistent standards and responsive decision making. Families can feel confident knowing the people behind the centres are accessible, invested and committed to delivering a high quality experience.
Strong relationships and connections
We prioritise genuine relationships between educators, children and families, building trust and a strong sense of belonging within each centre. This is supported through open communication, involvement in each child’s learning journey, and meaningful connections with the broader community. Through regular community incursions, children engage with local organisations, aged care residents, artists, cultural groups, health professionals and community members, creating authentic opportunities to learn about the world around them, develop empathy, and foster a sense of connection.

The environment is designed to foster a sense of belonging and freedom within clear boundaries. It is a space where parents, educators, and children all contribute meaningfully to the environment and shared decision making, creating a strong sense of community and partnership.

Carefully selected materials encourage independence, concentration, problem-solving, and confidence, while daily routines provide children with security, consistency, and opportunities to develop practical life skills.

Children’s House (3 – 5 years)

A carefully prepared Montessori environment, where independence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning are nurtured every day. What Our Families Say

     Suzy Lou

My son has been attending Nurture for around 8 months now and we’re so pleased with how Nurture have cared for and educated him. They provide thoughtful, meaningful and organised activities and hold lovely events for parents on occasion.

My son had separation anxiety but he adjusted in only one month and now he loves going every day! I definitely recommend this daycare, especially with the great care given by the instructors!

     Jasmine W

Even from the first orientation visit, my child looked so happy in the photos joining in the activities. It’s a lovely centre, very child focussed, lovely caring educators. Great food prepared for the children and the centre is always clean and tidy when I go in to drop off or collect.

    Jasmine W
     Chi Jung

Very experienced and caring team of educators who give a lot of thought to the activities for the children. We’ve been so happy with our child’s learning and development here – she loves it and has really come out of her shell!

     Jay Shimi

My son has been attending this Nurture Montessori daycare for almost a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. I was initially worried about how he would settle in after transitioning from a long-term daycare, especially since he’s very active and always on the move.

The EYLF supports the holistic development of every child — socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively and creatively — through play-based and inquiry-driven learning.

Our practice is grounded in strong relationships, high expectations, inclusion, respect for diversity and sustainability. We focus on the following key aspects:

        STEAM Inquiry

Children explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics through hands-on, play-based experiences.

        School Readiness

School readiness is embedded across our entire program, beginning in infancy and developing progressively each year. Children build confidence, independence and essential skills to ensure a smooth and positive transition to school.

        Creative Arts & Dance

Guided by the Reggio concept of the “hundred languages,” children express themselves through art, movement, music and dance.
